In these times, protecting the health of our singers, staff, volunteers, and audience members is of paramount importance. The Chorale singers and staff, volunteers, and guest instrumentalists are vaccinated.

Please note that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, older adults and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending a Sonoran Desert Chorale performance, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Out of consideration for all and in accordance with CDC, government, and performance venue guidelines, we have established the following health and safety protocols for concert performances.  These will be updated if circumstances change.  Our website will have the latest information.  This information will also be clearly posted at performance sites.

  • At this time, and in accordance with the performance venue, masks are optional for audience members. Proof of vaccination is not required.
  • Seating with social distancing remains strongly recommended.
  • We have masks available if you wish to use one and have forgotten yours.
  • Please do not attend a performance if you have recently been exposed to a person with Covid-19, are experiencing symptoms, or have been sick with Covid-19 within the past 14 days.
