The Sonoran Desert Chorale welcomes the Northern Arizona University Shrine of The Ages Choir to Mesa, the next stop on their Spring Tour. The Shrine of The Ages Choir will perform and then combine with the Sonoran Desert Chorale for a wonderful piece. Please come support AZ choral music at it's finest Friday March 9 at 7:30 PM.

The Sonoran Desert Chorale, co-sponsor of the Mesa Public Schools Choral Festival along with The Mesa Arts Center Foundation, invites you to the Festival's evening concert. The event is free and open to the public. It's a great evening with the top choirs of the Mesa High Schools each performing several numbers, a performance by the Chorale, and then a joint performance of all the MPS choirs, including the 11 junior high choirs, and the Chorale in a combined piece.…

A Sacred Mosaic – 25th Season

Mosaic, the art of assembling colored pieces of glass or stone to create an image or design, has been used to depict stories of faith and the spirit for centuries. The Chorale will give life to its own mosaic with some of the jewels of the past 500 years of sacred song set in place by the rich and powerful music of Mendelssohn, Duruflé, Ešenvalds, Wilberg and more.

The Chorale ends its celebration of 25 years in song with a tribute to songs of the heart - “If music be the food of love, Sing On.” From a water-nymph’s plea to the moon in Dvořák’s Song to the Moon to the simple conviction of hope in Dolly Parton’s Light of a Clear Blue Morning, Sing On is a fitting finale to this anniversary season’s celebration of the love and friendships that we share through song.
